ABOUT

I am a Registered Nurse - a caregiver. I discovered that the most effective way to care for people was not through medications, or numerous surgical procedures (although necessary at times), but through the teaching of yoga and meditation. I found yoga to be the antidote to that overwhelming, worrisome, and stress filled state of being that we call life. I discovered that yoga began my journey to live in the present and to be my best self. That is what I hope to bring to my students - their best self.

 

I practice and teach Iyengar yoga. If you can breathe, you can practice Iyengar yoga. Iyengar yoga emphasizes body alignment, breathing and self-discovery. The Iyengar method focuses on stilling the mind, so you are able to face the everyday problems of life with awareness, poise and grace.
